Format Description:
This file format consists of an archive of files that may be decompressed to a directory on the hard drive. The installation can then be done from that directory.
Follow these steps to install 1. Download the MDAC.EXE to a dirctory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a self-extracting executable. 2. Double click on MDAC.EXE application. 3. Choose to unzip the application. You will get the message that the file was unzipped. Once the application has been un-zipped the fix has been applied to your system. Please note that there are no other indications of the fix being applied. This fix only needs to be run once.
