Register a package using Wyse Management Suite (WMS)
1.Download the image to the WMS server. 2.Copy the downloaded .exe(image) to the WMS server repository (C:\Share\ repository\osImages\zipped) 3.Log in to WMS server. 4.Go to Portal Admin>File Repository and select the Local Repository check box and then click Sync Files. Wait for synchronization to complete. 5.Click Apps & Data and verify the copied package in the OS Image repository list. 6.Create a group in WMS server by clicking the Groups & Configs option. 7.Click the Plus sign (+) button, and register your client in the same group. 8.Go to App & Data, and select WES/ Thin Linux under OS Image Policies 9.Click Add Policy and update the required details. 10.Click Later to schedule the deployment later. 11.Click Schedule Image Policy in the Jobs page and schedule the deployment. 12.Monitor the status in the Jobs page.
Registering a package using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
1. Download the exe file. 2. Copy the exe file to a shared folder. 3. Expand Software Library > Overview > Application management > Packages. 4. Right-click Packages, and click Create Package. 5. Enter the package name, description, manufacturer name, language, and version. 6. Click Next. 7. Browse to the source folder where you have copied the sysprep files. 8. Click Next. 9. Select Standard Program option button as the program type. 10. Enter the required details, and click Browse to browse the exe file location. 11. Select the exe file and in the command line provide the parameters. 12. Click Next. 13. Click Next until the window with the close button is displayed. 14. Click Close. 15. The newly created packages are listed in the Application Management under Package. Select the package, click Distribute Content. 16. From the Add drop-down list, select Distribution Point. 17. Select an option to schedule job at a specified time, and click Next. 18. Verify the information that you have provided on the summary page, and click Next. 19. Select the created package, and click Deploy. 20. Click Collection, and browse to the devices list. 21. Select the device, and click Next. 22. From the Add drop-down list, select Distribution Point. 23. Select the available distribution points, and click OK. 24. Click Next to complete the deployment process. 25. Click Close to complete the process.
