Installation

1. In order to record your settings, print the settings Lists.
The firmware upgrade procedure resets some of the printer settings.
2. Install the printer driver and check the setting Default Printer.
3. Open the directory into which the files have been copied and double-click dllfb_pclps_VL_seisan_004_2.djf.exe.
4. Firmware starts to be transferred to the printer. Wait 1 to 2 minutes.
LCD screen displays Program Updating.
5. The printer restarts and displays Ready.
6. Open the directory into which the files have been copied and double-click dll_dcp_bd_E514_008.djf.exe.
7. Firmware starts to be transferred to the printer. Wait 1 to 2 minutes.
LCD screen displays Program Updating.
8. The printer is restarted and moves to Ready status.
9. Print the settings Lists again and compare with the previous one.
Ensure that the settings are the same before and after firmware update.
