Enhancements - Remote monitoring: Monitors your hardware to inform you of critical alerts. - Automated log and configuration collection: Information required for troubleshooting the issue is automatically collected and sent to Dell. - Automatic support case creation: When a critical alert is received from your hardware by Operations Manager, the alert information is sent to Dell and a service request is automatically created. A Dell technical support agent contacts you about the alert and helps you resolve the issue. - Proactive parts dispatch: Based on examination of the troubleshooting data, if the Dell technical support agent determines that a part needs to be replaced in your environment, a replacement part is dispatched to you with your consent Fixes - DSA service goes down soon after service start. - Periodic collection failed to trigger for a device for the 2nd and 3rd month and was successfull for 1st month - Send system logs feature is not working - IDRAC Alerts are not processed to Support Assist Server Failed with policy check error in SCOM 2012 - Installer Erroring out on a SCOM 2012 setup without Management Server(On a Remote Console Setup) - Discovering iDRAC and Server from the same system is omitting alerts from one of the device

You can install Dell SupportAssist using the Dell SupportAssist installation package
To install SupportAssist:
1. Make sure that Dell Server Management Pack Suite Version 5.0.1 For Microsoft System Center Operations Manager And System Center Essentials is installed on the system. For more information, see "Management Packs Required for SupportAssist" in the "Minimum requirements" section of readme file
2. Double-click the SupportAssist installer package file.
3. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen.
NOTE: If your system connects to the Internet through a proxy server, the proxy server settings must be configured in the Support Assist Proxy Settings page. For more information about configuring the proxy, see the Dell SupportAssist Version 1.0 User's Guide at dell.com/ServiceabilityTools.
NOTE: If SupportAssist is installed on either a non-host system (Operations Manager 2012 SP1) or non-RMS system (Operations manager 2007 R2), SupportAssist must be configured to establish a remote connection with the management group. For more information about configuring remote connection, see the Dell SupportAssist Version 1.0 User's Guide at dell.com/ServiceabilityTools.
