Format Description:
This file contains a compressed (or zipped) set of files. Download the file to a folder on your hard drive, and then run (double-click) it to unzip the set of files. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
1. Please backup data in the SSD, or at least make copies of all important files stored in the SSD before executing this firmware update. 2. No data loss is expected if the firmware update is executed properly according to the update instructions. 3. Data loss or system malfunction may result if the firmware update process is interrupted for any reason. 4. This firmware update shall be executed entirely at your own risk.
1. Click Download File and follow the remaining prompts to download the file. 2. When the File Download window appears, click Run to unzip the download package into your hard drive. 3. The file explorer will open pointing to the directory containing the download package. Please take note of the path.
Procedure 1. Execute the "FW Update tool" by double clicking, you may see below "User Account Control" window based on your Windows system setting. Please Click "Yes" to continue. 2. The tool will scan the system and list all supported and detected SSDs. If an SSD is not listed, click on the "Scan for Drives" icon to rescan the system. If fails to detect the SSD, check the SATA connection and try again. 4. Select the drive that needs to be updated by clicking on the drive. 5. Click Update Firmware to start the firmware update. 6. A warning message will be displayed. Click Cancel to return to the drive list page, or click OK to continue. 7. After a successful firmware update, the host system and drive must be powered off to activate the new firmware. 8. Relaunch the application after powering up the host system to confirm that the firmware is up to date on the target drive.
