Format Description:
This file contains a compressed (or zipped) set of files. Download the file to a folder on your hard drive, and then run (double-click) it to unzip the set of files. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
For Windows environments: A. Use the Multi-Tech Global Wizard for MT5634ZBA initial setup and country configuration in Windows NT environments. This modem is not approved in, or configured for operation in all countries, so it is important to first check the MT5634ZBA initial setup and country configuration in the Global Wizard program. B. Use the Multi-Tech DOSFlash upgrade utility in a DOS window environment. C. Use the Multi-Tech NTFlash upgrade utility in Windows NT environments. D. Be sure to turn off Windows NT RAS service before flash upgrading the MT5634ZBA. E. For Windows systems with autorun disabled, run the program AUTORUN.EXE from the root directory of the CD-ROM to begin installation.
For non-Windows environments: A. To configure for a specific country, execute the appropriate AT commands in a terminal window (refer to the Country Code Configuration section later in this document). This modem is not approved in, or configured for operation in all countries, so it is important to first check the MT5634ZBA initial setup and country configuration. B. To upgrade using DOSFlash, use the DOSFLASH.EXE application located in the DOSFLASH directory on the CD-ROM. C. For installation in a Novell Netware environment, use the MDC (Modem Definition Compiled) file in the NOVELL directory on the CD-ROM. For further information refer to the README.TXT file in that directory.
