The A01 version of IEEE 1394 Firmware Update contains the support necessary to create a IEEE 1394 bootable CD for use on systems which support IEEE 1394 CD drives as bootable devices.
** 1394_A01.iso creates a bootable CD disk updating the IEEE 1394 Firmware. THIS IMAGE IS TO FLASH THE IEEE 1394 FIMWARE OF THE DELL X200 ONLY**
The ISO image file uses Windows 98 DOS and IEEE 1394 CD drivers.

Format Description:
This file contains a compressed (or zipped) set of files. Download the file to a folder on your hard drive, and then run (double-click) it to unzip the set of files. Follow the instructions to complete the installation.
**Note: You will require a CDRW and a CD burning software such as Roxio Easy CD Creator 5 in order to use this file to create a Bootable CD to update the IEEE 1394 Firmware.**
1. Download the file to your hard drive. 2. Place a blank CD-ROM in your CDRW. 3. Double-Click on the "1394_A01.iso" file. 4. The file should automatically launch the CD burning software. 5. Select th option to "Start Recording". 6. The CD burning software will create a bootable CD with the 1394 Firware Update. 7. Click OK to exit the application. 8. Close all applications on you desktop and restart your system while the Boot CD is present in the CD-ROM Drive. 9. You computer will boot to the CD and ask to,"Press any key to continue..." to update the Firmware. 10. Press Enter. The Firware will be updated at this time. 11. Remove CD-ROM and reboot you computer.
