Fixes & Enhancements
Fixes and Enhancements in Version 2.20 ---------------------------------------- - QLogic FCoE mezzanine card: The QLogic supports 4 MAC and 2 WWN addresses, consisting of a total of 6 addresses to be displayed in the GUI pages and by the RACADM getmacaddress -a and getflexaddr commands. - New SD card format: The new SD card format contains two features to allow additional MAC addresses to be allocated for each server. The RACADM feature and featurecard commands display the features contained in the card. CMC 2.20 supports both the current SD card format and the new SD card format. - Launching vKVM from CMC: This feature allows direct launch of a KVM session on the server. - This feature is only supported when all of the following conditions are TRUE: 1) Server is PowerEdge M610 or PowerEdge M710. 2) The chassis power is on. 3) The LAN interface on the server's iDRAC is enabled. 4) The iDRAC version is version 2.20 or later. 5) The host system needs to have JRE (Java Runtime Environment) 6 Update 16 or later installed. 6) The host system needs to allow pop-up windows (i.e., disable pop-up blocking).
Dell Technologies recommends applying this update during your next scheduled update cycle. The update contains changes to maintain overall system health. It ensures that the system software remains current and compatible with other system modules (firmware, BIOS, drivers, and software) and may include other new features.
