To diagnose the keyboard using SupportAssist, open the program and select "Troubleshooting." Choose "I want to check a specific piece of hardware" and select "Keyboard." Follow the prompts to tap each key and select "Pass" if all keys respond or "Fail" if not.
To perform a SupportAssist diagnostic on the keyboard, open SupportAssist. Select “Troubleshooting.” And click on “I want to check a specific piece of hardware.” Select “Keyboard” and run the scan.
Tap each key as prompted. Select “Pass” if all the keyboard keys responded. If not, select “Fail.”
