This video shows the process of removing and installing the OCP card on a PowerEdge R660xs.
In this video we show how to replace the OCP card on a PowerEdge R660xs. Before removing the OCP card, read through and follow the safety guidelines to protect your system from potential damage and ensure your personal safety. For more information about safety guidelines, see the R660xs Service Manual at: Dell.com/support In order to remove the OCP card, you must first remove the cover and riser 2. To remove the cover, use a screwdriver to rotate the lock counterclockwise to the unlocked position. Next lift the release latch until the system cover slides back.
Then lift the cover from the system. To remove riser 2, disconnect the data cables from the system board. Holding the blue touch points squeeze the retaining clip and lift the riser up. Then disconnect the power cable from the system board and remove the riser. To remove the OCP card, open the blue latch. Then push it towards the rear of the system and slide it out. To install the OCP card, align and slide the card into the system until firmly seated.
Then close the latch to secure the card in place. to secure the card in place. To install riser 2, connect the power cable to the system board. Align and lower the riser into place until fully seated. Connect the data cables to the system board. To install the cover, align the system cover with the guide slots on the system and place it one the system. Next, close the system cover release latch.
