In this video shows how to install and remove a UltraSpeed Quad card. Ensure you always use ESD protection when working inside the computer. To begin, insert the system-cover key and turn the key counter-clockwise to unlock the system cover. Then, lift the release latch until the system cover slides back. Now, lift the system cover in an angle to remove it from the computer.
To remove the Cooling fan cage, lift the blue release levers to unlock the cooling fan cage. Then, hold the release levers and left the cooling fan cage from the computer. Now, lift to remove the Air shroud and then the three supports. Loosen the thumb screw of Riser 4. To remove Riser 4, push the release button and hold the edges to lift the riser from the system board. Loosen the three thumb screws on Riser 1.
To remove Riser 1, push the release button and hold the edges to lift the riser from the system board. To remove the Air shroud, press the gripping points and pull the air shroud upwards to lift it out of the computer. Then, disconnect the two cables and unroute them from the routing guides. Now let’s install the UltraSpeed Quad card.
To begin, open the PCIe latch and remove the PCIe filler from the Riser1. Then, slide the PCIe latch holder and align the graphics card with the notch on the riser. Insert the graphics card into the PCIe slot, then slide the PCIe latch holder, and close the PCIe latch. Now, the UltraSpeed Quad card installation process is complete. Note: We will demonstrate the system cover installation process once we show the UltraSpeed Quad card removal process.
To remove the UltraSpeed Quad card, open the PCIe latch and slide the PCIe latch holder. Now, pull the graphics card from the PCIe slot to remove it from the riser. Then, slide the PCIe latch holder and replace the PCIe filler. Close the PCIe latch. Route the two cables using the routing guides. And then connect them to the connectors.
