In this video, we show how to replace a BOSS-N1 M.2 carrier on a PowerEdge R260. To remove the BOSS-N1 M.2 carrier, lift the retention latch to unlock it. Using the retention latch, pull the module out of the system. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw securing the M.2 NVMe SSD to the module. Lift the M.2 at an angle and remove.
To install a BOSS M.2 NVMe SSD, align the M.2 at an angle and insert it into the module. Use a screwdriver to tighten the screw to secure it in place.
