Picking specific product model versions on the Dell Support Page

In this video we cover how to navigate to the support documents for your Dell system. The system used in the video is just an example and is used to show you how to select alternative versions. When the correct version is selected the Dell Support Page will show you the specific documentation for the selected product.

Hi there. In this video, we will cover how to select specific model versions in the manuals and documents section of the Dell support website to begin navigate to Dell dot com forward slash support. In this example, we're going to locate a specific version of a var. Some options may be different for your product. But this example is to show a system with alternative versions.

Once you're on the home page, navigate to the search box and type in the name of the product you're looking for. This will navigate us to the product page. And for this Avam Mar example, we have an option to select model. So we'll select Avam Mar server. Once that's been selected, we can now click on the documentation tab here on the right.

You should have a model version, drop down menu, make sure you select the correct model for your system. Once you've selected your system, you should see that the solutions knowledge base articles and manuals will change to be specific to the system you selected from here. Simply select the products you're looking for. This same process can be applied to other systems such as data domain. When looking for specific model versions and that's it.
