Log in to the Unisphere GUI as user 'admin', and once you're logged in, on the left hand side of the screen you can see 'Service' - 'System' and 'Service'.
Choose the 'Service' option then choose the 'Service Tasks' tab. Under the 'Service Task' tab you can see that the primary SP which will run the logs is SPA, and under the logs itself 'Collect Service Information' is highlighted and choose 'Execute'.
Once in here, in this window you can see previously run log files and you have the option to download those or collect, run a full collect now.
You have the choice of 'Full Collect', 'Performance Trace', 'Performance Assessment' and 'Minimum Collection'. We will do a full. This piece is speeded up, it goes from zero to 100, it can take 20 minutes, half an hour depending on the size of your storage system.
When complete it will be listed as SPA underscore UnityVSA as shown here. This is a log collection of both SPs, just SPA is the primary SP.
When ready choose the download button, the log file will be downloaded to the default browser download position.
