Capacitive Touch Function Row
The capacitive touch function row allows you to easily toggle between media controls and traditional function (F1 – F12) keys and bring forward only the icons you want.
- Press and hold the fn key to switch between the function keys and media controls.
- Press the fn key and the esc key on the capacitive touch function row to switch which keys are always displayed or locked.

Seamless Glass Touchpad
The seamless glass touchpad can be customized to enable or disable two-finger tap, modify the intensity of the haptic feedback, or adjust the touchpad sensitivity. The active area of the touchpad varies based on the XPS model.

Ambient Light Sensor
The ambient light sensor automatically detects your surroundings, adjusting your screen brightness and keeping the keyboard backlight off in bright environments and turning it on in darker ones.
