Hi, today we're going to look at system, update, and host information not showing on the VxRail plug-in. To identify if you have this issue, first log in to the vSphere web client.
Once you're logged in, select your cluster and then "Configure". Scroll down and select "System". If you're experiencing this issue, you should see that there is no "Version" listed.
Next, select "Updates" and there should be no update information. And lastly, under "Hosts", there will likely be an "HTTP error". Typically, these issues are created by the web browser's cache, so clearing the cache should resolve the issue.
For this browser example, select your menu option on the upper right and select "Settings". Select "Privacy and security" and then select "Clear browsing data". Select "Cookies and other site data" and "Cache images and files", and then click on "Clear Data".
Just be aware that this may sign you out of some websites you are currently logged in to. If your browser doesn't look like this example, then just do a quick web search on how to clear your cache on your current browser.
Finally, log back in to your vSphere client and the issues should be resolved and the correct information should be shown. And that's it.
