Welcome to Dell Technologies Integrated Data Protection Appliance (IDPA). Powering on the IDPA using iDRAC dashboard. Reference Dell Knowledge Article 184365. This video demonstrates how to remotely power on an IDPA appliance using iDRAC interface.
To power on an IDPA appliance remotely, please perform the following: Log in to the iDRAC interface. On the iDRAC dashboard, check the section “System Information” to ensure the name and power state of the IDPA appliance. Click on the button “Power On System.” A dialog box will be displayed indicating the power operation has been initiated.
Check the “System Information” section again to ensure that the power state is now showing “On.” The power-on process may take 10 to 15 minutes depending on size of the appliance. Before using the appliance ensure that the system is showing “ON” in the ACM dashboard. Log in to the ACM interface.
Monitor the Appliance Startup progress. If there are any issues during ACM startup please refer to a product guide for DP4400 section “troubleshooting startup.” Ensure that the power shows “On” before using the appliance. Please reference the following for more information.
