On a Dell laptop. The service tag and express service code sticker is located on the bottom of the device on certain XPS and precision laptops.
The sticker can be found under the device's metallic badge. Dell support ASIS can automatically scan the system and identify the service tag.
This information is shown on the top right corner of support.
The service tag can also be found in the bios or UEFI menu of your computer to find it, turn on or restart your computer at the Dell logo screen, press the F two key repeatedly to access bios or UEFI.
The service tag is available under the system information or overview section. Note that the bios or UEFI might look different on different laptops to learn how to navigate your bios. Check the user manual of your system.
You can also find the service tag with the windows command prompt to do so go to start and type CMD into the surf bar. Open up the result and once in the command prompt app type in WM IC bios get serial number and press enter the serial number information will display the system service tag.
