The drives in a 15-drive Disk Processor Enclosure are numbered 0 through 14. An actual faulted drive can be identified by an amber fault LED on the drive carrier.
Pull the drive latch up and slowly pull the disk out, about one inch from its slot. The part number for the drive is located here. Wait 30 seconds for the drive to stop spinning, and then remove it. Align the replacement drive with the guides in the slot.
With the drive latch fully open, gently push the drive into the slot. The drive latch begins to rotate downward. Push the handle down to engage the latch.
