When it's time to change the waist toner bottle the printer will alert you with a message on the screen. Here's how to change the waste toner bottle on your Dell S5840CDN laser printer. Pull up on the handle to open the right side cover then slide the lock lever to the right and open the lower right side cover.

Pull on the waste toner bottle to remove it. Unpack the new waste toner bottle. Be sure to remove all packing materials insert the new waste toner bottle and close the side covers.
