Here's how to use the PERCCLI tool in Windows. Download the tool from dell.com/support. You'll find it in "Drivers & downloads" in the "SAS RAID" section.
Extract the files, then copy "perccli" and "perccli64" to "System32". Open a "Command Prompt". To view the installed PERC cards, type the command "perccli show all".
Note the index number for your controller. You'll need this to execute other commands. To view information about a controller, use the command "perccli /cx show", where "x" is the controller index. For detailed controller logs, run "perccli /cx show termlog".
To save the information from one of these commands to a "txt" file, add a ">" symbol and a file name to the end of the command. It'll be saved to the working directory. To see all available commands, type "perccli help".
