Before you can replicate, you'll need to set up a partnership. First click the replication menu button on the lower left side. Click on configure partner, enter the name and IP address of the replication partner you want to use, then click next, enter the inbound and outbound passwords. Then click next, check the enabled NAS replication box. Then click next on this screen. You can store replicas from the partner. Enter the amount of pool space you want to delegate to the partner for storing replicas. This is not applicable to NAS replication. Review the summary screen and confirm your settings.
Then click finish, click no. For testing the partnership, you test the partnership. Once you configure it on the replication partner, switch to the replication partner. Now you need to set up replication on this partner. Enter the name and IP address of the previous partner, then click next, continue setting up the partnership as you did on the first partner. This time. Click yes, to test the partnership. Confirm the test is successful. If the test is unsuccessful, you'll need to go back and check your partnership settings, then close the window.
Now you can set up the replication, go back to your primary replication partner. Click on the NAS menu button, select the container you want to replicate. Then click configure replication, select the replication partner you want to use. Click, OK. Next click, create schedule, enter the schedule name, select the replication schedule, pick your desired schedule options, then click next set your schedule parameters. Then click next, confirm your schedule settings. Then click, finish if you want to manually replicate the container, click replicate, click yes. To begin replication.
Here, we can see the status of the replication. Switch to the secondary replication partner. Click the replication menu button to confirm that your container has been replicated. Navigate to your inbound replica containers, select your container and review the replication status. You can also verify the replication from the primary replication partner.
