How to replace the integrated storage controller on a power scale F 900. As always, please ensure that you are wearing ESD protection when working inside these systems turn to unlock the release latch and pull upwards. Lift off the top cover, lift and remove the plastic shroud.
Locate the storage controller and use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the controller connector, lift and remove the storage controller. Please ensure that the controller has cooled down fully before removing as these can get quite hot once removed.
Remove the interpose if required reinstall, the replacement interpose and or the replacement per controller reattach the cable and secure using the two screws reinstall the cooling shroud. Finally, we attach the top cover walking into place and tightening the locks screw.
