Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system:
Power off the system and all attached peripherals.
Disconnect the system from the electrical outlet, and disconnect the peripherals.
If applicable, remove the system from the rack.
Remove the system cover.
If installed, remove the front bezel.
Remove the GPU fans.
Remove the middle top cover.
Disconnect the drive backplane cables from the connector on the backplane.
Remove the GPU air shroud.
Remove the Nvidia A100 GPU assembly.
Removing the hot-plug fan board:
Disconnect the cables that are connected to the hot-plug fan board.
Pull the plungers to disengage the hot-plug fan board and lift it out of the system.
Installing the hot-plug fan board:
Align the hot-plug fan board to the hooks on the chassis and lock the plungers to secure the hot-plug fan board to the system.
Install the Nvidia A100 GPU assembly.
Install the GPU air shroud.
Connect the drive backplane cables from the connector on the backplane.
Install the middle top cover.
Install the GPU fans.
If removed, install the front bezel.
Follow the procedure listed in After working inside your system:
Replace the system cover.
If applicable, install the system into the rack.
Reconnect the peripherals and connect the system to the electrical outlet, and then power on the system.
