In this video, we’ll go over the steps for performing a part replacement on your Dell PC. First unscrew, then use fingers to separate and remove base cover. Now unscrew and remove brackets.
Then, disconnect and remove battery. Now disconnect keyboard cable. Hold sides of palmrest securely, while pushing into the two release holes using a plastic scribe. Gently pry up the lower edge of the keyboard from the computer. Once replaced, your PC should be ready to be used again.
