How to Remove a Latitude 5400 Keyboard

This video shows the procedure for removal and replacement of the Keyboard in your Latitude 5400.

Welcome to Del Tech support in this video.

We'll go over the steps for performing a part replacement on your Dell PC unscrew. Then remove access door now, unscrew and disconnect battery.

Now on screw solid state drive, then unscrew and disconnect wireless card. Next unscrew and disconnect cooling fan. Now unscrew and remove bracket, then DC jack now unscrew and remove bracket.

Then disconnect display cable, disconnect motherboard cables, now unscrew and disconnect motherboard. Now unscrew and remove keyboard. Once replaced your PC should be ready to be used again.
