This video demonstrates how you can configure the LDAP server settings in policy manager user interface. Configuring LDAP server settings enables users to access the policy manager user interface using their network credentials. NOTE: You must be added as an LDAP user in policy manager before you can access the policy manager user interface using your network credentials. In this video, we demonstrate the steps to configure the LDAP server settings in the policy manager user interface. To begin, log in to policy manager. On the top-right corner, click admin, System Settings, and then click LDAP Configuration. On the LDAP Configuration page, click the edit icon.
In the Connection section, select the protocol. Enter the hostname and port number of the LDAP server. In the User Id Field box, enter sAMAccountName. In the Base DN box, enter DC equals the domain name of your organization comma DC equals com. In the Authentication section, enter the username and password required to access the LDAP server.
