Welcome to our guide on adding a license to NetWorker Server using the Management Console or the Web UI. To obtain a license, visit licensing.dell.com Launch the NetWorker Server Administration window and open the properties panel of the NetWorker Server Go to the Licensing tab, search and select the license file. Click OK. Accept the acknowledgment window pop-up, and re-open the server properties.
Navigate to the Licensing tab again and click 'Validate' to validate your license. Ensure that the following fields have the correct values: CLP license server and CLP License Server Port if a served license is used and for all licenses: Solution ID and CLP SWID.
We are repeating the same steps, this time using the Networker User Interface. Log into your Networker server using the NetWorker User Interface. Select Server from the left panel drop down list. And then Select 'Server Properties'. Select Licensing tab. Here you hover over the information icon to see what each field is representing. Browse to select the license file within your filesystem.
The license file information is populated into the CLP License Text box. Click Save and go to the Licensing tab again to validate the license. For further information, please refer to the NetWorker Licensing Guide found at dell.com/manuals.
