These are the basic requirements. Your system needs to effectively run Windows 11, your CPU must be 64 bit with at least one gigahertz with two cores. The minimum RAM or memory requirement is four gigabytes or more. And your drive space can have no less than 64 gigabytes for the bios.
Your computer needs to be UEFI and secure boot capable. The system must also have the trusted platform module or TPM 2.0 enabled. The video graphics card must be compatible with direct X 12 or later. The computer's display must be greater than nine inches with an HD resolution.
You must also have a Microsoft account and an internet connection to set up Windows 11 to check if your computer is compatible with Windows 11, you can use the Windows PC Health Check app. If you don't have the app on your computer, follow these steps, open a web browser and go to aka.ms/GetPCHealthCheckApp.
The PC health check app should start downloading immediately. Once the download is complete, navigate to your downloads folder in file explorer and open the file, accept any onscreen prompts and follow the instructions to complete the installation when the installation is finished.
Make sure to check open windows PC, health check and click finish, then click on check. Now the app will tell you if your PC meets the Windows 11 requirements. Click on see all results to check the details about the compatibility. If the computer is not compatible with Windows 11, you will see the reason here. Click the X to close the program when you are finished.
