How to Remove and Reinstall Hard Drive for Inspiron 3520

This video will demonstrate removal and reinstall procedure of a Hard Drive for Inspiron 3520.

To remove the hard drive, flip the laptop over and remove the 6 screws from the base cover. Find and loosen the 2 screws at the back of the cover and gently pry the cover away from the hinges. Lift the base cover. Locate the hard drive and unplug the cable connecting it to the motherboard.

Remove the 4 screws securing the hard drive and lift it up and away from the system. To reinstall the hard drive, place it back into the system. Align and place the screws back in to secure it to the computer. Reconnect the cable to the motherboard and screw the base cover back on.
