To troubleshoot webcam issues, run SupportAssist diagnostics by selecting "SupportAssist" in Windows Search, navigating to the "Troubleshooting" tab, and choosing "Camera Devices". If an issue is detected, contact support. To give apps access to the camera, go to "Settings" and enable "Allow apps to access your camera". If the webcam is not working, try using it on a different application or enable it within BIOS by pressing F2 during startup and navigating to "Miscellaneous Devices". If the issue persists, update the system BIOS through SupportAssist. Contact support if further assistance is needed.

Can you see an image on the webcam? If not, let's try this next step. To check the webcam on a different application: Open the "Camera" app. Take a picture or record a video.
Open the "Photos" app to view your newly taken photo or video. Were you able to view the photo or video in a different app? Let us know. If not, let's move on to the next step.
To enable your webcam within BIOS, power on the computer. During startup, press the F2 key at the Dell logo screen. Within BIOS, expand "System Configuration". And navigate to "Miscellaneous Devices".
Make sure the webcam is enabled. If it is disabled, enable the device and click on "Apply". Click on "Exit" to boot into Windows. Finally, restart your computer. Can you see an image on the webcam now? If not, let's proceed to the next step.
To update the system BIOS, Windows Search and select "BitLocker". Click on "Suspend Protection" and confirm. Windows Search and select "SupportAssist". Open "SupportAssist". Navigate to "Drivers and Downloads". And click on "Run Now".
