In this video, we'll show you how to unbox and set up your Tri-Mode Wireless Gaming Mouse AW720M. Now, let's begin. First, peel off the seal and open the box.
Inside the box, You'll find the Alienware Tri-mode, wireless gaming mouse, USB charging cable, accessory box, quick start guide, Alienware welcome letter, and the warranty, Safety and Regulatory document.
Inside the accessory box, you'll find the USB wireless dongle, Magnetic dongle remover, Dongle Extender and USB-C magnetic dongle for charging.
Turn over the mouse and remove the protective sheet from the mouse. Slide the power button down to turn on the mouse. Your mouse has a rechargeable battery.
For best results, ensure that the battery is fully charged before using it for the first time. You can charge the mouse both in wireless and wired mode.
To connect and charge the mouse using the wireless mode, Connect the USB-C end to the USB charging cable to the bottom port of the dongle extender.
Insert the USB wireless dongle to the top port of the dongle extender. Connect the other end of the USB charging cable to an available USB port on your computer.
Connect the USB-C magnetic dongle for magnetic snap charging to the USB port on the mouse. Snapped the magnetic end of the USB-C magnetic dongle, to magnetic port of the dongle extender.
To charge the mouse using the wired mode, connect the USB-C and the USB charging cable to the USB-C port on the mouse. Connect the other end of the USB charging cable to any available USB port on your computer.
When the batteries fully charge in both wired and wireless mode, the battery indicator blinks green for two seconds and then stays static green for ten seconds.
After twelve seconds, it reverts back to the default lighting. You can use the mouse in both wireless and wired mode. To use the mouse and wireless mode, enable a 2.4 G mode or Bluetooth.
To use the mouse in 2.4 G mode on your computer, turn over the mouse and slide the mode button to 2.4 G. You can also connect the USB wireless dongle directly to an available port on your computer without using the USB charging cable and the dongle extender.
Before you use your mouse in wireless mode using Bluetooth, Ensure that Bluetooth is turned on in your computer. Turn over the mouse. And slide the mode button to Bluetooth mode.
The mouse will automatically enter pairing mode during the first time pairing for subsequent mouse pairing, Slide the mode button to Bluetooth mode and hold it for three seconds.
The DPI LED will blink indicating your wireless mouse It's in pairing mode. To pair the mood using Swift Pair open the Bluetooth and other devices settings window on your computer.
Ensure that the “Show notifications to connect using Swift Pair” Box is selected. Place your wireless mouse near your computer. The new Bluetooth mouse found window appears.
Click connect and confirm the pairing process on the wireless mouse and your computer. You can also pair the mouse with your computer by adding a new device in the Bluetooth and other devices settings window.
Open the Bluetooth and other devices settings window on your computer. Click add Bluetooth and other devices. Click Bluetooth. From the list of available devices.
Click Alienware AW720M. To use the mouse in wired mode, Connect the USB-C end to the USB charging cable, to the USB-C port on the mouse and the other end to an available USB port on your computer.
Alienware Command Center is required to customize and enhance the gaming experience. To enjoy all the features of your product, ensure that the latest version of Alienware Command Center is installed.
You can also customize the Alienware Tri-Mode Wireless Gaming Mouse using Alienware Command Center. You can adjust the sensitivity of the mouse, RGB lighting and mouse customizations viewing battery evel and charging status.
You can also assign program shortcuts to device programable buttons or keys in the Macros tab. If Alienware Command Center is not downloaded or installed on your computer, go to Dell.com/support and search for Alienware Command Center and Alienware Gaming Peripheral Driver, then download Alienware Command Center and follow the onscreen instructions.
