The Self Heal option in Dell Latitude E and E2 family systems can recover a motherboard from a no POST, no power, or no video situation. To use this option, remove necessary components to access the CMOS battery, disconnect it, wait for 10-15 seconds, connect the power adaptor, and restart the system. The system will start with a blank screen, and after reconnecting the CMOS battery, it will restart twice and boot on the third attempt.
