In this video we will demonstrate how to remove and install the Front Bezel.
Before removing the front bezel, read through the safety guidelines to protect your computer from potential damage and ensure your personal safety.
For more information about safety guidelines, see the Precision 3440 Small Form Factor Service Manual at dell.com/support. Before you begin, ensure that you turn off your computer and disconnect all attached peripherals.
To get started, push the release latch down to unlock the side cover. Using the tab on the side cover, slide and lift the side cover off the computer.
Now let’s remove the front bezel. To begin, gently pry the retention tabs sequentially from the top to release the front bezel from the computer.
You can now move the front bezel outward to remove it from the computer. You have successfully removed the front bezel. Now, let’s see how to install the front bezel.
To begin, you must align and insert the front-bezel tabs with the slots on the computer and then move the front bezel towards the computer until the retention tabs click into place.
Now, align the tabs on the side cover with the slots on the system and slide the side cover towards the front of the computer until the release latch locks the side cover.
