In this video, we show how to replace an expansion card on a par R260 before moving the expansion card read through and follow the safety guidelines to protect your system from potential damage and ensure your personal safety. In order to remove an expansion card, you must first remove the system cover air shrub and butterfly riser to remove the system cover using a screwdriver, rotate the lock counterclockwise to the unlocked position. Press down on the two release tabs and slide the cover towards the rear to disengage it.
Then lift the cover from the system to remove the air shroud, hold it at both ends and lift it out of the system to remove the butterfly riser holding by the blue touch points, lift it from the system, then disconnect any attached cables to remove an expansion card, hold it by the edges and pull to disengage it from the connector and remove, to install an expansion card, a line and insert the edge connector until the card is fully seated.
To install the butterfly riser, connect any cables then holding it by the blue touch points align and lower it into the system until firmly seated to install the air shroud align it with the standoffs on the chassis wall and lower until firmly seated to install the system cover align and place it on the system, slide it to the front until it clicks into place.
