Welcome to our upgrade guide for networker server on the Windows platform, browse to the extracted binary location and start the installation using the run as administrator option. Wait for the installer to initialize, check the license agreement and click next. Choose either configure or do not configure firewall based on the requirements.
The installer will gray out all components that are already found on the system. Uncheck. Any component that you do not plan to install and click next. Click, OK. On the license server requirement, notice, verify the authentication server host and the port number and click next. Use the keys, store password for the OC server. Verify the NMC installation path and the authentication server, host name and port. Click next, verify the certification and key file pass, choose use existing certificate and key for upgrade. Click next, verify the NMC database path. Enter default ports for the client service and the web server. Click next.
The existing database is detected. Select, keep the database and click upgrade to proceed with the process. The installer stops the services and starts copying the latest binaries. Once the installation shows as successful, click finish to complete the upgrade for further information. Please refer to the Networker Windows installation guide found on the networker support pages.
