However, you can also erase and reset your old PC that has multiple user accounts with or without migrating all the files and settings. In this video, we will demonstrate how to erase and reset a PC that has multiple user accounts. Dell Migrate enables you to migrate your files and settings from any PC running the Windows operating system to a Dell PC.
After you migrate your data, you can erase and reset your old PC before you sell, gift, or trade in the PC. For steps to erase and reset a PC compatible with Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery see the video titled Erase using Dell Reset.
For steps to erase and reset a PC that is not compatible, see the video titled Erase using Windows Reset. During erase, if Dell Migrate detects that there are multiple user accounts in your PC, you are prompted to confirm that you have migrated the files and settings of all the user accounts.
For steps to migrate data of multiple user accounts, see the video titled Migrate from multiple user accounts. If you click Proceed, data associated with all the user accounts will be erased.
