In this video, we’ll introduce you to some apps that might be pre-installed on your Dell computer when you receive it.
Chapter 01: SupportAssist
SupportAssist can automatically identify hardware and software issues on your laptop. This software addresses system performance and stabilization issues, prevents security threats, and monitors and detects hardware failures. Chapter 02: Dell Digital Delivery
Dell Digital Delivery and Alienware Digital Delivery allow you an easy way to buy software from Dell. You can automatically download and install software titles on select systems.

Chapter 03: Dell Digital Locker
Dell Digital Locker is a secure web portal that allows you to view, activate, and manage software, subscriptions, and licensing information.
Sign into Dell Digital Locker with your email address used when purchasing the device.
Chapter 04: Dell Power Manager
Dell Power Manager allows you to extend the battery life of your system. You can configure how the battery is maintained based on your personal preferences. It also supports alert notifications that are related to the power adapter, battery, docking, and USB-C device. With Dell Power Manager, you can find and manage battery information, advanced charge mode, peak shift, thermal management, and battery extender.
Chapter 05: Dell Optimizer
Dell Optimizer uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to optimize the performance of your device. This program configures settings to improve productivity, performance, and user experience through system usage analysis and learning.
Dell Optimizer is only supported on Latitude, Precision Workstations, and OptiPlex systems launched after March 2020.
Chapter 06: Microsoft Apps
Microsoft Office is preinstalled on select Dell Laptops. To find out if it’s on yours, click on the Windows start button and then select All apps, and look for ‘Office’. If Office is not preinstalled, open a web browser, and go to office.com. Sign in using the Microsoft account associated with your Office purchase. After signing in on the Office homepage, click on Install and open the Installation file. Follow the instructions on the screen.
To activate Office, just open any Office app and accept the license agreement to finish the activation! Note that the Activation Wizard will appear if Office has trouble activating. Complete the steps in the wizard to finish the activation.

Chapter 07: Microsoft Photos
The Microsoft Photos app helps you view and organize all your photos and videos in one place. You can also back up your photos to OneDrive so they’re available on all your devices. The Photos app is free and available for devices running Windows 10 and later versions.
When you double-click an image file on your device, it opens in the Photos app by default. If another program is set as your default image viewer, right-click on the file and select Open with Photos. Once you have an image open in the photos app, use the tools at the top of the window to edit, rotate, crop, or zoom in.
Chapter 08: Mail and Calendar
Stay up to date on your email and manage your schedule with the mail and calendar apps. These apps support Office 365, Exchange, Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo, and other popular accounts. Set up your account by clicking on Add account on the Mail homepage.
Chapter 09: Video Conferencing Apps
Video conferencing apps such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx, Google Meet, and Slack help you connect with loved ones, sync with your colleagues, or take an online class. Download your preferred app from its website.
