An overview of canvas Fences by Stardock.

Expenses for Canvas by Stardock enables easy one-touch navigation and access to all system content, helping users minimize searching and speed up productivity. Once installed, fences are automatically created and appear on the canvas. Users can change what folders appear in individual fences through the dropdown menu for each fence.

To access the fence configuration user interface, a user simply needs to right click on the canvas desktop. The fences appear on either side of the canvas surface, but application windows can be maximized to cover them when the user does not want to interact with the fences. Fences can be temporarily disabled if needed.
