Launch the enterprise manager client click configure VM Ware Vsphere to access a storage center, log in to storage center and the VM Ware host assuming the VM Ware host IP addresses for Cuzzi have already been configured and the host has been cabled correctly to the array.
The fault domain should be reachable if either fault domain is not reachable, troubleshoot this prior to configuring log in to continue. Once the VM ware host is logged into the storage center, verify that everything is connected. If the VM Ware server is using the software is initiator, it will only log in once.
If there are Izzy hbas, each one will log in individually. If the server has nick that are Izzy capable, they may show is unconnected. This is normal.
After verifying that the Cuzzi initiator is connected to all Izzy targets on the array. Click create server, best practices will be applied to the host. Click, create a volume for this host and click finish. Provide a volume name, the capacity and replay profiles on the storage tab.
You can see the ESX server as well as the volume and the storage mapping details back in the ESX client click configuration, then storage adapters then rescan all click. OK.
This may take several minutes to complete once completed, click on the storage tab, then add storage, select disc lu select the Compell Ice Guzzi desk. Choose the preferred file system, provide a data store name and then a capacity. The VM ware Izzy host is now attached.
