How to Remove a Latitude 3590 Keyboard

This video shows the procedure for removal and replacement of the Keyboard in your Latitude 3590.

In this video, we’ll go over the steps for performing a part replacement on your Dell PC. First, unscrew, then use fingers to pry apart bottom base.

Now, unscrew and disconnect battery. Now, unscrew and disconnect wireless card. Now, unscrew and remove heat sink. Then, unscrew and disconnect cooling fan.

Then, unscrew and remove SSD. Then, disconnect and remove speakers. Now, unscrew touchpad. Next, disconnect and remove touchpad. Then, unscrew and disconnect hard drive.

Now, unscrew and disconnect input/output board. Now, disconnect cable. Then, unscrew and remove VGA board. Now, unscrew and lift right hinge from palmrest.

Then, unscrew and lift left hinge from palmrest. Next, unscrew and disconnect DC jack. Then, unscrew and disconnect power button board.

Now, unscrew and disconnect motherboard. Now, remove display assembly. Once replaced, your PC should be ready to be used again.
