Dell Migrate enables you to migrate files and settings from more than one PC running Windows operating system to your Dell PC. In this video, we will demonstrate how to migrate your files and settings from all your PCs to your Dell PC. For more information, see www.dell.com/1477.
In this video, we will demonstrate how you can migrate files and settings from multiple PCs to a Dell PC. Dell Migrate enables you to migrate files and settings from any PC running the Windows operating system to a Dell PC.
After the migration is complete, the migration summary is displayed. When you click Finish, the links to view the migration summary, provide us feedback, or migrate more data are displayed.
To migrate more data from the same PC or a different PC, click Migrate more data. Dell Migrate starts searching for the old PC. On your old PC, go to Dell.com/DataAssistant.
Scroll down and download the executable file, and click it. The Dell Data Assistant is extracted and installed on your PC. On Dell Data Assistant, click Let’s get started.
When the PCs detect each other, a verification code is displayed on your old PC. Enter the verification code on your new PC. If the code is verified successfully, the PCs are paired, and Dell Data Assistant scans your old PC for files and settings that can be migrated.
