In this video, we demonstrate how to replace the graphics card on a Precision Tower 3640 Before removing the graphics card, read through the safety guidelines to protect your computer from potential damage and ensure your personal safety.

To begin, place the computer on a flat surface. Pull the release latch to release the side cover. Note, the release latch may have been secured with a security screw.
If so, remove the security screw and pull the release latch. Rotate and lift the cover to remove it from the computer. Now, let’s remove the graphics card.
To begin, push the two locks to the left to release the PSU. Now, open the PSU hinge. Disconnect the VGA power cable from the graphics card. Then, lift the PCIe cardholder, that holds the graphics card in place.
Finally, press the releasing clip, and lift the graphics card away from the system. Note that a PCIe holder may not be required for systems shipped with NVIDIA Quadro P4000 or RTX4000 dual graphics card configurations.
You've successfully removed the graphics card. Now, let's see how to install the graphics card. To begin, insert the graphics card into the connector on the system board.
Now, insert the tab on the PCIe cardholder and press until it's secured to the graphics card. Connect the VGA power cable to the connector on the graphics card.
Then, close the PSU hinge. Push the two locks to the right to secure the PSU in place. To install the cover again, align the hooks on the cover with the tabs on the chassis of the computer.
Rotate the cover until it clicks into place. Then, replace the screw on the Release latch to secure the cover. Now, connect all the peripherals, and turn on your computer.
