Connecting wireless devices in Windows 11 is pretty straightforward. Follow these quick and easy steps to connect with your Bluetooth-capable PC. The first step is to pair your Bluetooth device.
Turn on the Bluetooth device. Make sure it's in within range of your PC, and that it has a sufficient charge. This will allow it to be discovered by your computer.
Some Bluetooth devices do have a pairing mode. If this is the case, press the "Pairing" button on the device itself. Refer to the device manufacturer's manual for information on setting the "pairing" mode.
Next, on your Windows PC, click on "Start". Type "Bluetooth" and select "Bluetooth and other devices settings". Be sure that Bluetooth is turned on, then click "Add device" and select "Bluetooth" from the list of options.
Windows will start searching for Bluetooth devices within range. Locate your Bluetooth device and click on it. Depending on the type of device, you may need to confirm a PIN code.
If so, check the match and click on "Connect". Your Bluetooth device is now ready to use. Click "Done" to exit and proceed with the next step. The next step is to connect the paired device.
After setting up any new Bluetooth device, it should be visible under either "Audio" or "Other devices". Its status should read "Paired", which indicates that it's ready for Bluetooth use.
Click "Connect" and your device is ready to go. If the next time you want to use it, and the device is not listed here, just repeat the pairing process.
