First examine your error message. At the bottom the specific error will be displayed. Write the error down for use later. If there is information contained in parentheses immediately after it write this down as well. Restart your computer If you can access your desktop, search for "problem reports".
Select "View all problem reports" Under the source column look for "Windows" Then under Summary look for "Shut down unexpectedly" Right-click the event. Then select "Check for Solutions" If no solution is provided, or if the error persists try running an online diagnostic. Visit Dell.com/Support.
Provide your Service Tag. Click "Quick Test" to evaluate the most critical compounds, Or "Full Test" for a comprehensive hardware test. If all tests pass, check the box next to "Bluescreen analyzer", in the "Test a specific device or create a custom test" section.
Then click the "Test Selected Devices" button. The analyzer reviews diagnostic information, And provides additional solutions and troubleshooting steps.
