In this video, we demonstrate how to optimize your system using SupportAssist. SupportAssist helps you to optimize your system by running a series of diagnostics to identify modifications to files and settings of your system.
Optimizing your system improves your system speed storage space availability, and stability by cleaning temporary files tuning system performance, optimizing networks and removing virus and malware from your system.
If you want to perform a specific system optimization click "Run Now" on the respective tile. You can also run all the scans and optimization by clicking "Run All" or "Start Now" on the home page.
When you initiate an optimization the name of the task that is running is displayed below the menu bar and the progress status of the scan is displayed on the tile.
After the optimization is complete an appropriate notification is displayed on the tile. You can view the detail of the optimization performed on the History page.
Depending on your service plan, the amount of hard drive space saved and the number of viruses and malware removed in the last 90 days are displayed in the Summary view on the History page and the home page.
To run all the scans and optimizations, click "Start Now." If all the scans and optimizations are completed and you still feel an issue is not resolved you can click "Still Need Help?" to manually create a Support request.
