To test for video distortion issues on an LCD screen, shut down your computer and hold the "D" key while turning it on to initiate a colored screen test.
To run an LCD built-in self test, shut down your computer. Press and hold the “D” key while you turn on the system. This will initiate a colored screen test to determine if there is a video distortion issue.
