In this video, we will demonstrate how to remove and install the Optical-Disk Drive (ODD).
Before removing the ODD, read through the safety guidelines to protect your computer from potential damage and ensure your personal safety.

Turn off your computer and disconnect all attached peripherals. To get started, place the desktop on the side and loosen the two captive screws that secure the side cover to the computer.
Slide the side cover towards the back of the chassis and lift it off the system. To remove the front bezel, Pry the three retention tabs to release the front bezel from the chassis. Then, pull the front bezel from the slots in the chassis and remove front bezel away from the computer. Now let’s remove the optical disk drive.
Disconnect the power and data cables from the connectors on the ODD and then remove the two screws that secure the ODD to the chassis. Now, slide and remove the ODD from the slot. You have now successfully removed the ODD. Now, let’s see how to install the ODD.
Insert and slide the ODD into the dedicated slot on the computer until it snaps into place. Align and tighten the two screws that secure the ODD to the bracket. Now, connect the power and data cables to the connectors on the ODD.
To install the front bezel, align the tabs on the bezel with the slots on the chassis. and press the bezel until it clicks into place. To install the side cover, align the tabs on the side cover with the slots on the chassis and replace the side cover on the chassis.
Slide the side cover towards the front of the unit and tighten the two captive screws to secure the side cover to the chassis. You have successfully installed the optical disk drive. Now, connect all the peripherals and turn on your computer.
