How to replace LCD Panel for Dell Latitude 3160

This video will demonstrate the replacement procedure of a LCD Panel for the Dell Latitude 3160.

Welcome to Dell Tech Support.

In this video we’ll go over the steps for performing a part replacement on your Dell PC. First unscrew and remove bottom cover access door. Then unscrew battery.

Now remove and unplug battery. Using a razor blade, carefully pry out the screw hole covers. Then remove screws. Now carefully pry out the LCD bezel, working your way around the edge of the screen.

Then unscrew and turn over the LCD screen. Now loosen tape, then lift the latch and unplug the LCD cable. Once replaced, your PC should be ready to be used again.
