Remove the base cover.
Remove the computer base.
Removing the fan:
1. Peel off the Mylar from the heat sink and fan.
2. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board.
3. Remove the screws that secure the fan to the computer base.
4. Lift the fan along with its cable off the computer base.
Installing the fan:
1. Align the screw holes on the fan with the screw holes on the computer base.
2. Replace the screws that secure the fan to the computer base.
3. Adhere the Mylar over the heat sink and fan.
4. Connect the fan cable to the system board.
Replace the computer base.
Replace the base cover.
